4th time at Tribute Pizza! It's an amazing spot with so many options for different pizzas, which are a "tribute to famous ones" around the world. Each pizza can be made gluten-free (just a bit smaller than their standard pan size) but still a great size to share. Best gluten-free pizza we have ever had. Sometimes the dough lacks consistency or flavor, but they really do it great here! The non-gluten-free bread is fantastic too! Our sister is on a strict GF diet, or we would have gone with the normal bread. But truthfully, it does not disappoint and is so delicious! We got 2 gluten-free pizzas, Brussels sprouts, and the focaccia bread, and we were full. We even brought home two slices since we couldn't finish. They have amazing espresso martinis!!! The place is always slammed though, so definitely make a reservation or you will probably wait 1-2 hours. We were here on a Wednesday night, and it was still packed! Cute ambiance, fun energy, and great for solo diners, small groups, or families! Even with how busy it was, the service was great! Unfortunately didn't get a pizza because we ate before the camera haha. So delicious!!!

I've been trying to get into the restaurant a couple of times before finally being able to walk-in for a table. I was in the hood with my son and we decided to get some pizza and luckily, we were able to get seated outside immediately. We kept it very simple and ordered the margherita pie in their 13" neopolitan style bake. We got waited on pretty quickly and efficiently, and after taking our order the waiter came back a few minutes later and said something like they didn't have margherita that's on the menu, but could do the cheese adn basil...I was like, yeah okay, just get it going. I think maybe they didn't have fior d'latte cheese... My son was able to do a little crayon coloring while we waited (blue/red color only) which was fun and the place is pretty lively so people watching was cool too. The outside is comfortable and there are large glass window that are floor to ceiling so one could easily see the action inside. Our pizza came out about 35-40 minutes later as advertised and I have to say it was quite delicious. The crust had a good bite on the base, and the toppings were just the right amount. Every bite had a crunch, and a nice chewy crust that was flavorful. I could taste freshness and really enjoyed the basic pie. Everything was pretty great, and the cost is appropriate for what you get these days. It would be nice to have the updated menus if something isn't offered any longer or to be told upfront when ordering. Giving it a solid 4.5 stars and rounding up because I'll be going back at some point to try out some more adventurous toppings in the future.

Tribute Pizza has been claimed as some of our friends' favorite pizza ever and the fact that it's always so busy really adds to the hype. Although the restaurant is spacious, it fills up fast so you absolutely should make a reservation. Even ordering for takeout can take up to 45 minutes. And being in North Park, the only parking is residential so make sure you allocate time before your reservation just to look for parking! Roasted Garlic Brussels Sprouts: Great dish to start the night off and easy to share. The outer leaves are crispy from being deep fried and the balsamic + garlic sauce was so good. I also recommend adding the bacon lardons. They're generous with the serving and brussels sprouts just go so well with bacon. Szechuan Spicy Noodles: Seeing Asian noodles at a pizza joint was very surprising. It's got a little kick but overall, not bad. But if it's your first time, I'd suggest skipping the noodles to save stomach room for pizza. Pizzas: Lots of different options and three different styles to choose from. We ordered Mushroom Whitestone 2.0 (Neo-Neapolitan), Tie Dye Pie (Grandma Style), and Pepperoni Lovers (Neo-Neapolitan). I wasn't a fan of the Grandma Style and preferred the thinner breading of the Neo-Neapolitan. The Mushroom pizza with its white sauce was good and you can't really go wrong with a classic pepperoni pizza. I recommend ordering some of their chili crisp dip and mashed garlic as additions to enhance your pizza! Overall, delicious meal and I'd love to come back and try their other pizzas and styles. I wonder if the menu changes often because it would be a great way to sample tributes to other pizza shops around the world.
